I have been a boy-mom for two and a half years. I love my son, who I will call C for this blog in order to somewhat protect his reputation later in life. He has been so much fun! I have been a girl-mom for almost 3 weeks. I love her too and will call her B. As they grow, I hope to document their little lives here and the difference between boys and girls.
This was prompted tonight by getting covered in urine, again. Remember that I have two young children so this isn't a new occurrence! With C, I didn't even make it out of the hospital before he peed on me (and my bed). Little boys pee the second that the diaper comes off for quite a while. Luckily, we are out of that phase! Little girls, on the other hand, don't, which has been a pleasant change. Tonight B had a little bit of a red heiney so I decided that I'd put a blanket over her and do some diaper-free time. No problem, she doesn't pee just because she is naked. But I was wrong. Oh how I was wrong. She was laying on my chest and all of the sudden I feel a warm, wet something spreading across my shirt. Oops! I waited too long. Lesson learned. Diaper-free time still isn't unlimited with little girls. So Miss B had a bath (as did I). And she's back on my chest, with a diaper this time, asleep.
